I liked it! Joan and Peggy work well together and they aren’t afraid to tell each other what they think, but at the same time they stick together because SISTERS ARE DOING IT FOR THEMSELVES.
Also, I thought it was interesting what happened after all of Joan’s shenanigans. Don decides to drop a client without consulting anyone but god forbid Joan tries to get a client without the Pete’s assistance. That was more frustrating, really. (You didn’t ask about this but there ya go.)

True, the season started in December and I think it’s May now? That’s six months and she probably lost like 50 lbs (???), so that’s believable. It just feels sudden.
